Application
- Patch Test Required:
Always conduct a patch test 24 hours before use. Individual reactions to numbing agents can vary, making this step crucial for safety. - Avoid Certain Substances:
Do not consume alcohol or excessive amounts of milk 24 hours before application, as these can affect the efficacy of the cream. - Application Instructions:
- Clean Hands: Start by washing your hands thoroughly to prevent contamination.
- Prepare the Area: Ensure the treatment area is clean, dry, and free of excess dead skin. Always apply the cream to unbroken skin only.
- Use an Applicator: To avoid direct contact with the eye, use an applicator to spread a thick layer of cream (about 2-3mm) over the intended area. Do not rub it in.
- Timing: Allow the cream to sit for 15-30 minutes (do not exceed 40 minutes).
- Cleaning Up: After the allotted time, wipe or clean the area as needed (your nurse will likely assist with this).
- Safety Precautions:
- Only apply the cream to exterior skin and avoid contact with open wounds. This product should not be reapplied over any open wounds.
